SAA has suspended all regional flights and international flights, until May 31. This is to support the government travel ban aimed at stopping the transmission of Covid-19, the airline said in a statement.
Regional flights suspended are Accra (Ghana), Lusaka (Zambia), Harare (Zimbabwe), Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe), Windhoek (Namibia), Lagos (Nigeria), and Entebbe (Uganda) and Mauritius.
SAA’s suspended international routes are United States (Washington DC and New York, JFK), the United Kingdom (London, Heathrow), Germany (Frankfurt and Munich), Australia (Perth) and Brazil (São Paulo).
SAA will only offer services on its domestic route between Johannesburg and Cape Town.
