Qatar adds third destination in Malaysia
Qatar Airways will launch flights to Langkawi (LGK), Malaysia, on October 15. The flights will operate via Penang. This will be the airline’s third destination in Malaysia after Penang (PEN) and Kuala Lumpur.
Initially, the service will run four times weekly, with an increase from October 27 to five weekly flights. The route will be operated by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner with 22 business-class seats and 232 seats in economy class.
From October 15, the flight will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
QR866 will depart DOH at 02h25, arriving in PEN at 15h00, departing at 16h25 and arriving in LGK at 17h05.
Return flight QR 867 will depart LGK at 19h00, arriving in PEN at 19h40, departing at 21h00 and arriving in DOH at 23h45.
From October 27, an extra flight will operate on Fridays. QR866 will depart DOH at 02h10, arriving in PEN at 14h20, departing at 15h30, arriving in LGK at 16h20.
Flight QR867 will depart LGK at 18h40, arriving in PEN at 19h40, departing at 20h35 and arriving in DOH at 23h25.
